LG G8s ThinQ: Design and Display
The G8s has an-all glass design with a polished finish and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top to offer protection against scratches and dust. It also has IP68 water and dust resistance and is MIL-STD 810G compliant. LG says the phone has an ergonomic feel in hand, which makes it easy for one-handed operation. Towards the front, the phone has a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED FullVision display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 2248 x 1080 pixels screen resolution.
LG G8s ThinQ: Performance
At its core, the G8s ThinQ has a 7nm Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU running under the hood, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB with microSD card). To power everything, it has a 3550mAh battery, which comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
In terms of other hardware specifications, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor, 3D face unlock, a 3.5mm audio jack, a DAC, and stereo speakers. Additionally, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB Type-C. Other features for the phone include Air Motion, Stereo Speakers, AI CAM, Google Lens, and Google Assistant.
LG G8s ThinQ: Camera
For optics, the G8s ThinQ sports a triple-lens camera setup on the rear, which includes a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP super-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.6 aperture. On the front, it has an 8MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 3D ToF sensor. The Z camera (ToF) comes with features like Portrait and Spotlight to improve the image quality on the front camera and also allows to measure better depth for improved bokeh and selfie portraits. Besides, the sensor uses infrared light and 3D point clouds to trace the contours and features of the face in a more effective manner. The Z camera also aids in Air Motion, which is a touchless command interface that allows users to perform various actions without having to touch the screen.
LG Q60
Alongside the G8s ThinQ, LG has also launched the Q60, which is aimed at catering to the budget smartphone market. The phone features a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision Display, a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable up to 2TB with microSD card). For optics, it has a triple camera setup with a 16MP primary, 5MP super-wide, and 2MP telephoto sensor. And a 13MP camera on the front for selfies. It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box, and to power everything, it includes a 3500mAh battery.
Additionally, it also offers DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, AI CAM, MIL-STD 810G Compliance, Fingerprint Sensor, and Google Assistant Button. The LG Q60 will be available for Rs 13,490 and will go on sale in India starting October 1.

The LG G8s ThinQ comes in just one color option: Mirror Black and is priced at Rs 36,990. It will be available for sale starting September 29 across various online outlets.
